DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Online Family Art Day! Led by an experien
 ced teaching artist\, children and their caregivers are invited to virtual
 ly explore Japan Society Gallery&rsquo\;s new exhibition\,&nbsp\;<em><a hr
 ef="https://www.japansociety.org/page/programs/gallery/when-practice-becom
 es-form-carpentry-tools-from-japan">When Practice Becomes Form: Carpentry 
 Tools from Japan</a></em>\, to learn about Japanese art and culture and be
 come inspired to create their own architectural spaces. Families will then
  put that inspiration to use through a guided craft activity using simple 
 materials from home. Roll up your sleeves and get ready for a fun-filled d
 ay of art!\n<strong>Ticket Information:</strong>\n<em>$15/$12 members. Rec
 ommended for ages 6-10 year olds and their caregivers. Only one registrati
 on per family is required. Space is limited to 20 families. Registration i
 ncludes one complimentary adult admission to on-site gallery exhibition. C
 hildren under the age of 16 may visit the gallery for free.</em>
