DESCRIPTION:<em>Slanted Perspectives </em> looks at racsim\, bigotry\, nega
 tive stereotypes\, and injustice faced by Japanese Americans throughout hi
 story and today. The narratives are based on my own family and personal st
 ories and memoirs. Both of my parents were sent to interment camps (Manzan
 ar and Heart Mountain). \n The exhibition opens on April 8\, 2018 at 5pm a
 t the Gatov West Gallery on the campus of California State University\, Lo
 ng Beach. The show closes on Thursday\, April 12 at 5 pm. Extended hours o
 n Wednesday to 7 pm. \n Parking is along East Campus Drive (Gallery is nea
 r there): please note the parking hours and restrictions.
