 ional development workshops for teachers and administrators in Region 5 (S

 um of San Jose in San Jose's Japantown.\n\nGuest speakers (Jeanne Wakatsuk
 i Houston\, Karen Korematsu and others) will address four critical stories
 :\n &middot\; The California&rsquo\;s assembly centers\n &middot\; The Jap
 anese American Internment\n &middot\; Fred Korematsu&rsquo\;s story\n &mid
 dot\; The family stories of local Legacy Voices\n Participants will receiv
 e materials to share with students and colleagues at their schools and sch
 ool districts\, thus preparing them to become legacy voices. This Japanese
  American Confinement Sites grant is sponsored by the National Park Servic
 e\, the Korematsu Institute for Civil Rights and Education\, and the Japan
