 s\, CA) -- Intersection of 1st Street and Central&nbsp\;Avenue on the Japa
 nese American National Museum Plaza (JANM).&nbsp\;\n\nWHAT: Come share in 
 a community-wide candlelight vigil on the one year&nbsp\;anniversary&nbsp\
 ;of the earthquake and tsunami that struck northeastern Japan on March&nbs
 p\;11\, 2011.&nbsp\;A sea of candles will demonstrate the support of Littl
 e Tokyo\, the city of Los&nbsp\;Angeles\, and the importance of solidarity
  amongst all of humankind in&nbsp\;\nthe face of&nbsp\;this world disaster
 .&nbsp\;\n\nThis event will be reflective\, as we remember the lives of&nb
 sp\;individuals and families&nbsp\;that were lost in this tragedy. It will
  also be hopeful\, as we light&nbsp\;candles that break&nbsp\;the darkness
  of hopelessness and despair for those who survived and continue to&nbsp\;
 struggle as they attempt to move forward in their lives.&nbsp\;\n\nWHO: Am
 ong those supporting this candlelight vigil are the Nikkei&nbsp\;Interfait
 h Group of&nbsp\;Little Tokyo\, the Nisei Week Foundation\, and the Japane
 se American National&nbsp\;Museum.\n
