Chikara Mizukami will demonstrate two classics: Nerikiri and Kuzukiri.\n\nNerikiri are hand mold ed bean cakes made with azuki bean paste and natural vegetable dyes for co loring. You will learn about the seasonal themes in Wagashi and the variet ies of wagashi shapes - the abstract and impressionistic designs of Kyoto and the realistic designs of Edo (old Tokyo).\n\nWe will also make Kuzukir i served with brown sugar syrup.
