"Valor with Honor" screening

Valor with Honor is an independent feature documentary (85min) about the segregated Japanese American 442nd Regimental Combat Team. The 442nd is the most decorated unit for its size and length of service in the history of the US Armed Forces. Valor with Honor will be screened for the first time in Portland on September 7, 2013, 2pm, at the NW Film Center's Whitsell Auditorium (1219 SW Park Avenue). $9 general public, $8 seniors/students, $6 Friends of NW Film Center, OHS members, and Friends of Oregon Nikkei Endowment.

Presented by the Northwest Film Center, Oregon Nikkei Endowment, and the Oregon Historical Society. Q&A after the screening with the filmmaker. DVDs will be sold and autographed at the event.
