One of the koi in the lake at the Japanese Garden of the Washington Arboretum. This photo was taken on July 11, 2007 from the bridge across the lake. I stood at the bridge and this fish swam towards me and circled around below obviously hoping for food. Sadly, I disappointed him (or her?) and only took photos.

It was a good-sized koi as was most of the koi in the lake, and had an "old" and some-what weathered look to it. It was soon joined by others.
