 30 Under 30 Changemaker</strong>\, for a virtual workshop exploring memory
 \, loss\, and reclamation. Using various techniques\, participants will de
 construct photographs to examine memory's transitory nature—thus rooted 
 in loss—and reconstruct these images to explore how we might gain a sens
 e of agency over such loss. Whether your photographs are in relation to fa
 mily\, history\, or childhood\, this workshop is about the power in wrestl
 ing with such loss in order to reclaim one's own narrative. The workshop w
 ill use printed photographs\, paint\, and found objects around your home (
 optional)\, and is open to all ages.\n\nMiye Sugino is a Japanese-Korean A
 merican artist and writer. She is interested in distilling inexpressible t
 opics—like memory\, displacement\, and history—into an image. Her work
  has been recognized by the National YoungArts Foundation\, U.S. President
 ial Scholars in the Arts\, Japanese American National Museum\, and the Jun
 iper Writing Institute\, among others. She grew up in Tokyo and Los Angele
 s and is currently a student at Yale University. She is one of JANM’s <
 a href="https://www.janm.org/events/special/30th-benefit/30-under-30">30 C
 hangemakers Under 30</a>\, an honor given as part of JANM’s 30th Anniver
 sary celebrations in 2022.\n\n<em>This workshop is part of a series of fre
 e art workshops for all ages and skill levels with some of JANM’s 30 Und
