  of ono food\, our famous andagi\, an ikebana display\, and dancing  aroun
 d our uniquely decorated yagura. The annual obon season is a special time 
 for families. Together we honor  our parents and ancestors through the ser
 vice and bon dance. Join us for a night of good food\, shave ice\, andagi\
 , and\, of course\, dancing! Bon dance practice will be held on Wednesday\
 , 7/25 at 7:00 p.m.\n\nKailua Hongwanji Mission was established in 1968 at
  its present location  in Kailua\, Hawaii.&nbsp\;In 2012\, through the sup
 port and vision of its  membership\, the original temple was demolished an
 d rebuilt. The new  temple was completed and dedicated on February 22\, 20
 14\, which coincided  with major donor Dorthy Ono's 10th Memorial Annivers
