DESCRIPTION:Expanding to include Japanese-language and youth divisions\, Li
 ttle Tokyo Historical Society (LTHS) seeks fictional short stories for it 
 second annual &ldquo\;Imagine Little Tokyo&rdquo\; writing contest. The de
 adline is January 31\, 2015.&nbsp\;\nThe first place winners of the Englis
 h- and Japanese-language competitions will each receive a cash award of $6
 00\; the winner of the youth division (18 and younger) will get $400. The 
 purpose of the contest is to raise awareness of Little Tokyo through a cre
 ative story that takes place in Little Tokyo. The story has to be fiction 
 and depict the current\, past or future of Little Tokyo as part of the Cit
 y of Los Angeles\, California.&nbsp\;\nThe winning stories will appear in&
 nbsp\;<em>The Rafu Shimpo</em>&nbsp\;and Discover Nikkei website.&nbsp\; A
  public award ceremony and readings are also planned in 2015.&nbsp\;&nbsp\

 目を迎える&rdquo\;Imagine Little Tokyo&rdquo\;（「リトル東京
 に広がる想像の翼」）　ショートストーリー・コンテ
 ストは、作品（フィクションのみ）の募集を開始しま
 す。今回は、一般の部（英語）に加え、日本語部門と
 青少年部門（18歳以下）を新たに設定しました。応募締
 切りは2015年１月31日です。&nbsp\;\n最優秀作品には、一
 般部門（１作品）と日本語部門（１作品）にそれぞれ
 現金$600の賞金が授与されます。青少年部門（１作品）
 の最優秀作品には、賞金として現金$400が授与されます
 。本コンテストは、リトル東京を舞台としたクリエイ
 ティブな作品を通して、より多くの方々にリトル東京
 の魅力を感じ、関心を高めてもらうことを目的として
 います。&nbsp\;カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス市のリト
 ル東京の現在・過去・未来を描いたフィクション作品
 が対象です。&nbsp\;\n最優秀賞作品は&nbsp\;、<em>The Rafu Shi
 mpo</em>（羅府新報)、そしてDiscover Nikkeiのウェブサイト
 に掲載されます。2015年度は、授賞式と朗読会も予定し
