 Jeff Liu\n\nBeginning in 1980\, the Japanese American Historical Society o
 f Southern California (JAHSSC) presented their first public programs\, int
 roducing many residents of the South Bay and the greater Los Angeles area 
 to Japanese American history and culture.\n\nAfter decades of great educat
 ional programming\, the JAHSSC is retiring as an organization with this fi
 nal program. As we move forward\, we&#x27;ll take a look at a handful of the ma
 ny initiatives and projects in the active Japanese American community thro
 ugh this program. It will feature a dynamic program of speakers\, video ex
 cerpts and a forward-thinking round table discussion of 3 generations of c
 ommunity based educators\, activists and artists. Join us and learn about 
 some of the many projects\, networks and organizations to support as we gr
 ow into the future and extend our sense of community engagement.\n\n&lt;stron
 g&gt;Confirmed speakers include: Allan Aquino\, Evelyn Yoshimura\, Glenn Omat
 su\, Iku Kiriyama\, Karen Ishizuka\, Kristin Fukushima\, Sean Miura\, Tad
