 n\nAt the San Bruno BART station\, the site where the Tanforan Assembly Ce
 nter was. At this site Japanese Americans were herded up in 1942 before th
 eir were sent to permanent internment camps. Amongst them were Kitagaki's 
 father\, aunt\, and grandparents.\n\nExhibit runs through Asian-Pacific Am
 erican Heritage Month (May 2012).
