In The  Peach Farmer’s Daughter , author Brenda Nakamoto recalls her childhood growing up on a rural Northern California farm. The Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) Book Club will meet Saturday, June 6, 1:00pm at the Museum -- 535 North Fifth Street in San Jose -- to discuss Nakamoto’s memoirs as well as share some of their own stories about farm life. 

A Sansei, third generation Japanese American, Nakamoto movingly reflects on the decline of her aging parents, her deep connections to the land, and personal and family history.
