"Only the Brave" captures the human tragedies, sacrifices and stories of the Japanese American 100th/442nd Regimental Combat Team who suffered over 800 casualties to save 211 Texas soldiers of the “Lost Battalion” in what is regarded today as one of the ten most significant battles of World War II.

The Cherry Blossom Festival SoCal is excited and proud to present 4 screenings of A Lane Nishikawa film – “Only The Brave” as part of its festival on April 10th and 11th at the Tateuchi Democracy Forum, Japanese American National Museum . The film stars include Lane Nishikawa, Tamlyn Tomita, Mark Dacascos, Yuji Okumoto, Jason Scott Lee, Pat Noriyuki Morita, Jeff Fahey and an impressive supporting cast.

 There will be 2 screenings of the movie each day on Saturday and Sunday (12:30 & 2:30). There will also be a Q&A session with the filmmaker following each showing.

Admission cost:  $3.00 donation for the movie to help underwrite costs.  Admission is free for active/inactive military personnel with military ID and/or DD Form 214 (Discharge Paper).
