My father is half-Japanese, born in Hiroshima during the Korean war and he was adopted. I never knew him, but growing up I wanted to "get to know him" as best as I could, which inspired me to look into my own heritage. I may "only" be 1/4 Japanese, but it has become a large part of my life and I would like to connect to others with Japanese heritage living abroad.
