Describe how, where, and why the ensemble was founded. What was its inspiration?

The Japanese Drum Team "KODAMA"  is from the IPC tertiary institution in Palmerston North. The team was founded over 20 years ago by a professional Japanese drummer. Over the years, captains and members have put themselves into the songs handed down to them from member to member. Last year, they have given over 20 performances all around New Zealand.
