Tokuichi Muro carvings

A positive aspect of camp life was the availability of leisure time outlets for the internees. Jack's father took advantage of the woodcarving workshop to produce beautifully carved figurines. Jack captured his father's art depicting their block 6H garden and animals and people, which were displayed at the fair.
