DESCRIPTION:<strong>Pay-what-you-can! </strong>\n\n2013 Day of Remembrance 
 will mark the 71st Anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066\, wh
 ich led to the unlawful forced removal\, and unconstitutional mass incarce
 ration of 120\,000 Japanese Americans.\n\nThe 2013 Day of Remembrance will
  explore the theme\, "The 25th Anniversary of the Civil Liberties Act of 1
 988: Our Struggle\, Our Perseverance\, Our Commitment" will celebrate the 
 25th anniversary of the redress victory and explore not only what the bill
  accomplished and what it failed to do\, but also the lessons learned and 
 the legacy for the community.\n\nThe annual Day of Remembrance is a time t
 o recall the past injustices suffered by the Issei and Nisei and to educat
 e others\, reminding all of us about the continued need to be vigilant aga
 inst threats to our constitutional and civil rights.\n<strong></strong>\n<
 strong>Program:</strong>\n-Remembrance and In Memoriam with a tribute to S
 enator Daniel Inouye\n-Musical performance by George Abe\n-Panel on the Ci
 vil Liberties Act of 1988 with Richard Katsuda\, Mitch Maki\, and Rose Och
 i (moderated by Bruce Embrey)\n-Presentation by the USC Nikkei Association
 \n\nLight refreshments at reception following the program. Limited seating
  available on a first come\, first served basis.\n<em></em>\n<em>Co-presen
 ted with the JACL Pacific Southwest District\, Nikkei for Civil Rights and
  Redress\, the Japanese American National Museum\, the Council on American
