 discover that their new neighbor is a mysterious forest spirit called Toto
 ro who can be seen only through the eyes of a child.\n\nAn important compo
 nent of LTDW\, My Neighbor Totoro depicts themes critical to contemporary 
 Japanese culture and emphasizes the importance of how tradition coexists w
 ith modernity. The film&rsquo\;s ability to embrace the real with fantasy\
 , urban and rural\, humans with nature continuously illustrates a cohesive
 \, beautiful juxtaposition of two opposing worlds -- the world as it is an
 d the world that is to come.\n\nThe film will be shown in its original lan
 guage\, Japanese\, with English subtitles.\n\nThe evening will also featur
