In today’s society, technology is advancing at a phenomenal pace, transforming the way we work and live. Among high-tech companies, NEC Corporation, a leading Japanese technology firm, has achieved major breakthroughs in the performance and accuracy of its facial recognition technology. In 2020, Tokyo will be the first Summer Games host to deploy facial recognition technology for frictionless access, improving both customer experience and security around all venues. What are the benefits of using facial recognition systems? How will it be used in the future? In this program, Masahiro “Mark” Ikeno, President and CEO of NEC Corporation of America, discusses real-world use cases of this technology.
