Come to the museum to see To Be Takei , a very funny and insightful film about George Takei. Takei is probably most widely known for his role as Sulu in the television series Star Trek . The two main themes of the film revolve around Takei's being a former Tule Lake incarceree and his being gay. JAMsj was a community consultant to this film. The talented producer, Jennifer Kroot, will be available for a Q&A session after the showing. So come join us at the friendliest and most convenient movie house in San Jose to learn more about this engaging and talented actor.

Also, see a short interview "extra" of Jimi Yamaichi in JAMsj's barracks room.

The cost for this fundraiser is $10 with a $5 discount for JAMsj members.

Showtime is 1:00 pm. An RSVP is required. Email PublicPrograms@jamsj.org or call 408.294.3138 to reserve a seat.
