Celebrate the holidays with a screening of Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings , an inspiring portrait of an inventive musician whose virtuoso ukulele skills have transformed all previous notions of the instrument’s potential. Through intimate conversations with Shimabukuro, the film reveals the cultural and personal influences that have shaped the man and the musician.

Screening will be followed by a special holiday performance by Shimabukuro, a conversation between Shimabukuro and award-winning director Tadashi Nakamura, and a light reception. This event is co-presented by JANM, Angry Asian Man, First Pond Entertainment, and Visual Communications.

$24 JANM and Visual Communications members; $30 general admission.
Members, please bring current membership card to validate special discount.
