Screening of the Film Hanjiro in Chicago

The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Chicago will, on January 25, be presenting a free screening of the rollicking 2010 samurai movie Hanjiro. The film tells the story of Nakamura Hanjiro, a formidable warrior and loyal ally of Saigo Takamori (who you may perhaps remember as the titular subject of the Tom Cruise vehicle The Last Samurai), who must contend with forces of corruption in the Japanese government as he chooses to defend his friend and master.
