Reading of DAWN'S LIGHT at John Jay College.

DAWN'S LIGHT: THE JOURNEY OF GORDON HIRABAYASHI, is a one-person play
inspired by the true story of Gordon Hirabayashi, who was only a
24-year-old college student at the University of Washington in
Seattle during WWII, when he openly defied and legally challenged the
U.S. government orders to mass incarcerate all people of Japanese
ancestry on the West Coast.  The play had its world premiere at East
West Players in Los Angeles in 2007, and was workshopped and
presented last year in the August 09 Dartmouth Residency with the New
York Theatre Workshop.

Admission is free, but please reserve by email:  DawnsLightPPC@aol.com (maximum 2 people) or call (212) 237-8005
