Joyce Shoho Kubose

Urasenke tea master

Joyce Sosho Kubose has been trained in the Urasenke Tradition of Tea and has been awarded the certificate of kyoju, the highest rank of merit in the art of chanoyu. She has been teaching chanoyu/The Japanese Way of Tea, along with her mother Minnie Somi Kubosein, in Chicago for over 25 years. Joyce Kubose also established the nonprofit organization, Chanoyu Center of Chicago.
