Most vivid memory of military experience
Humorous experience: One cold winter night while on guard duty, the Officer of the Day came by and I had both hands in my overcoat pocket because it was so cold and I failed to salute. The Officer said, 'Don't you know how to salute?' I said, 'Yes sir,' and saluted.
Missed most whilst in the military
Freedom
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
Military service builds up your character. You learn to follow and obey orders. It teaches discipline, leadership, responsibilities, physical fitness, new trades.
