Most vivid memory of military experience
When taking newsreel of Prime Minister Yoshida, I had to bring along a translator who happened to be a Jewish Officer from Brooklyn
Missed most whilst in the military
The men I trained with. Some of us were ordered to remain behind to train the replacements.
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
We knew that it was 'Go For Broke.' We had this chance to prove once and for all that we are 'Americans' and would prove it the hard way. My older and younger brothers are buried at the cemetary in St. Avoin, France.
