Color silent amateur films by Dave Tatsuno (1913-2006), a businessman in the San Francisco Bay area. Tatsuno's films, before 1942 and the forced exclusion of World War II, generally show family outings, sporting events, holidays, celebrations, and the family business.
This very brief segment, from ca. 1940, shows two women exiting the Tatsunos' house at 1625 Buchanan St. in San Francisco, with their white dog; one woman, in a pink coat, walks away in the direction of the Tatsunos' store, Nichibei Bussan, at the corner of Buchanan and Post Streets (00:15).
