Roy Y. Sakamoto
Roy Y. Sakamoto é um nisei que nasceu após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, cresceu em uma fazenda de morangos em San Jose, CA, e mais tarde ajudou seu pai em sua rota de jardinagem. Gerente financeiro da divisão aposentada da Força Aérea dos EUA, Roy é docente voluntário no Museu Nacional Nipo-Americano em Little Tokyo, em Los Angeles. Ele também é presidente da Sociedade Histórica Nipo-Americana do Sul da Califórnia. A peregrinação ao Lago Tule foi muito significativa para ele porque toda a família de Roy passou quase quatro anos encarcerada nos campos de concentração do Rio Gila e do Lago Tule durante a guerra.
