 cipation as each temple in the Buddhist community hosts O-Bon services and
  dances. In a few weeks\, colorfully lit <em>chochin</em> will adorn the m
 any Buddhist temples on the Big Island\, heralding O-Bon season. The Honpa
  Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin welcomes everyone in the island community to its a
 nnual O-Bon observances to be held from July 13-14.\n\nWith over 600+ memb
 er families\, the Hilo Betsuin's members enjoy a large arrary of activitie
 s and events that bring together families and friends to work and play tog
 ether. Our Jodo Shinshu Teachings reflect on living and spreading the Dhar
 ma. By following the Eight-Fold Path and embracing the Four Noble Truths\,
