 uo\;s third solo exhibition in New York will showcase his most recent pape
 r-cutting works from Modern Theory of Evolution\, in which he intentionall
 y layers black and white papers to depict insects and animals to underline
  the coexistence of living organisms and human-made machines. The fusion o
 f the inorganic and the organic reveals the fragility and beauty of the mo
 dern world we live in\, as in Darwin&rsquo\;s words when he referred to hi
 s work: &ldquo\;We are in a new phase of evolution mediated by machines.&r
 dquo\;&nbsp\;\n \n11月1日よりヘルズキッチンのジャダイト
 ギャラリーズにて、現代美術家KROUDによる個展Contemorary 
 Evolution Theoryを開催します。 KROUDは切り絵の技法を通じ
 『空間』の可視化を表現するアーティストであり、今
 回でニューヨークで三回目となる個展では、昆虫や動
 物などを白と黒の紙を重ね機械的に表現した12点を展示
 します。生物と機械が混生する現代において、無機物
 と有機物の同時実現は現代社会のもつ脆さと美しさを
 投影した世界をぜひご堪能ください。KROUDは国立新美術
 館や高島屋美術画廊などでの作品発表に加え、新エコ
 ールド・パリ美術展入選、欧州美術ポルトガル美術展
 に特別推薦された実力派アーティストです。オープニ
 ングレセプションには作家も在廊します。皆様のご来
