Despite geopolitical tensions and talk of trade wars, the economic outlook remains promising. The U.S. economy is booming, with U.S. GDP growth topping at 3% and unemployment rate falling under 4%. While Japan’s economy seems to be on track, many economists believe the nation’s growth will slow in 2019. What lies ahead for the world economy in 2019? What are the biggest threats to the global economy? In this program, leading experts give their assessment of the current economic conditions, and share their economic forecasts.
