Hisako Narasaki (Hiroshima, Japan), a participant at the "Whose America? Who's American? Diversity, Civil Liberties, and Social Justice" National Conference in Denver, Colorado presented by the Japanese American National Museum.
The photo was taken at the Discover Nikkei booth in the Community Marketplace on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency, Denver.
Hisako Narasaki comments:
I'm researching about Japanese American religion. I thought Japanese Americans have very strong community connections. I could get a lot of different view points. However, I think I can fit here, but I can't fit here at the same time as a Japanese.
