The Real Lives of Origami Figures

Tough Questions

Some questions in life are tougher to answer than others. At least some of them have real answers. Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, to all the moms out there, and to all who keep their moms on their toes.

The Real Lives of Origami Figures

Origami TV

When I teach people how to fold simple origami figures, I often suggest that they unfold and refold a finished figure to solidify in their minds how it is made—dissection and reconstruction.

Things Happen

I’m a planner, and I think it’s good to plan and prepare. But sometimes, things just happen, life happens, and you just have to roll with it.

Another “Real Lives of Origami Figures”

For those who have never folded a crane before, there comes a point at the end where you choose which of the two “tails” will be the bird’s head. Once decided, it’s just a matter of a simple inside reverse fold to form it.
