軍隊生活で最も記憶に残っている出来事
My first experience in a bombing raid on Guadalcanal. Humorous - when several of us interrogators came upon some New Zealand soldiers bathing in a river. They froze and were a comical sight when they thought (we) were Japanese soldiers. We said 'Hi!' and talked - were they relieved.
軍隊にいる間、最も懐かしかったもの
My wife and family.
個人的に軍隊経験から学んだ最も重要なこと
We all concluded that war & killing was stupid. The enemy was another soldier doing his job. When I left the service I didn't think that there would ever be another war after having experienced this war.
