Color silent amateur footage (1940's-early 1950's) taken by Terminal Island resident Ben Fukuzaki, primarily of the fishing industry in and around Fish Harbor, Terminal Island, and San Pedro, California.

This segment (01:13) shows footage from the annual Fisherman's Fiesta in San Pedro, California; views from the waterline while motoring past the U.S.C. Marine Laboratory research vessel Velero IV, the fishing boats Anthony M. (with a banner, "Star-Kist Tuna"), Big Dipper, Vittoria, San Antonio IV, G. Marconi, City of Naples II, Sea Maid, and Treasure Island, all heavily decorated; passing a fishing boat decorated with Chinese lanterns; the decorated fishing boats Saint Louis, Santa Lucia, Nancy [Harris?], and Nancy Rose; motoring past a group of young women in white dresses, carrying large red bouquets; the fishing boats Ronnie M., Sea Scape, Marsha Ann, Sea Pride, and Yankee Clipper.
