Aileen Okimoto (Arvada, Colorado) and Joyce Mizunaga (Aurora, Colorado)

L- Aileen Okimoto comments:

We enjoyed volunteering at the "Whose America? Who's American? Diversity, Civil Liberties, and Social Justice." My father was interned at Heart Mountain, Wyoming, and his older brother was in the US Army. My mother was born in Ft. Lupton, CO, and during the war, the family helped other Japanese Americans from California. This was a great conference informing about the relocation camps, 442nd, and other diversity and civil liberties.

R- Joyce Mizunaga comments:

Conference-Whose America? Who's American? It is good to let people know what people went through in camps. For families and the general public. It is also good information about the 442nd and how they went beyond the call of duty.
