Harry K. Honda

1919年ロサンゼルス生まれ（自称アンジェリーノ）。1932年にメリノール学院を卒業。日系人記者として長いキャリアを持つ。1936年ロサンゼルスの羅府新報から始まり、サンフランシスコの日米新聞でも1年間活躍。第二次世界大戦中は国内で兵役に従事し、1950年にはロヨラ大学で政治学を学び卒業。その後ハリー氏は2002年に退職するまで、日系アメリカ人市民同盟の週刊新聞、パシフィック・シチズンの編集者を務めた。2013年7月、93歳で死去。

Kotaro Horisaka

上智大学外国語学部教授。イベロアメリカ研究所所長。国際基督教大学教養学部卒。ラテンアメリカ地域研究（ポリティカル・エコノミー）。日本経済新聞証券部記者、国際開発センター研究助手、日本経済新聞産業部・外報部記者、中南米特派員（４年間）等を経て現職。ブラジルを中心にラテンアメリカ各国で取材およびフィールドワークを行なう。メルスコール（南米南部共同市場）を中心とした米州における地域統合の動向分析、ラテンアメリカの産業・企業動向分析、ブラジルの政治・経済動向分析等を行う。

Lili Kawamura

リリ・カワムラは、サンパウロ大学で社会学の博士号、サンパウロ州カンピーナス国立大学UNICAMPで教育のフリードセント、1987年からUNICAMP-FEの教授および研究員、筑波大学修士課程の客員教授（1997-2000年）、天理大学客員教授（1994年）、京都外国語大学の共同教授（1994年）、名古屋大学研究員（1993-1994年）を歴任。ブラジル人移民に関する著書や記事を出版しており、2003年にUnicampから出版された「ブラジル人はどこへ行くのか？」第2版や、2000年に明石書店から出版された「日本社会とブラジル人移民」（日本語）などがあるほか、ブラジルと日本の雑誌に記事を寄稿している。

Akemi Kikumura Yano

アケミ・キクムラ・ヤノは、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校アジア系アメリカ人研究センターの客員研究員です。カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校で人類学の博士号を取得しており、受賞歴のある作家、キュレーター、劇作家でもあります。著書『過酷な冬を乗り越えて：移民女性の人生』で最もよく知られています。

Célia Abe Oi

ジャーナリスト、歴史家。「日伯毎日新聞」ポルトガル語ページ編集長、その他ブラジル日系社会の邦字新聞などで活躍した。1998年―2007年、ブラジル日本移民史料館館長をつとめる。主な著作として、「野球という情熱の物語」「ピラチニンガの50年―ある時代の二世たち」がある。

Célia Sakurai

ブラジル日本移民歴史の研究者。「Romanceiro da Imigração Japonesa　（小説集・日本移民）」（1993年）、「Imigração e Política（移民と政治）」（1995年）、「Imigração Tutelada. Os japoneses no Brasil（庇護された移民：ブラジルに来た日本人）」（Unicampサンパウロ州立カンピーナス大学博士論文、2000年）、「Os Japoneses（日本人）」（2007年）などの著書がある。その他多数のエッセイを執筆。第一回文協短編コンクール優勝作品「塀一つ隔てた2つの家庭」は、2013年11月11日ディスカバー・ニッケイに掲載された。

Ariel Takeda

大学講師、教授法の専門家。二世のタケダ氏は、チリ南部で生まれ育ちました。6年間、Socidade Beneficente Japonesa（SJB)のディレクターとして、またSJBの機関誌、”Informativo Nikkei"のライターとして従事しました。主な著書としては、全米日系博物館、アケミ・キクムラ＝ヤノ編、『アメリカ大陸日系人百科事典』の第６章「チリの日本人移民と日系チリ人」、Japoneses Chilenos – Primera Mitad del Siglo XX（2006）がある。未刊行のものとしては、Nikkei Chilenos – Segunda Mitad del Siglo XX、小説 El Nikkei – A la Sombra del Samurai がある。

Alexandre Ratsuo Uehara

アレクサンドル・ウエハラ氏は、ブラジル日本研究者協会（ABEJ）の副会長。政治学博士号を持ち、外交学教授、日本外交の専門家。著書に『 20世紀末の日本外交』がある。

Paulo Yokota

パウロ・ヨコタ氏はブラジル出身の経済学者。サンパウロ大学経済学部の元教授。ブラジル中央銀行総裁、国立土地管理・定住プロジェクト研究所長、技術サービス諮問委員会委員（世界教会評議会、スイス、ジュネーブ）など、これまで多くの政府要職を歴任。また、日本で開催された「つくば万博」ではブラジル政府代表を務め、国務省の招待で米国特別訪問プログラムに参加、JICA奨学金を得て日本を訪問。現在はブラジル日本慈善協会会長、ブラジル日本人移民100周年記念協会副会長を務める。
