ケント・タロウ・トノヅカさん（22歳）は、オクシデンタル大学の4年生で、アジア研究を専攻し、日本語を専攻しています。彼はサンフランシスコで生まれ育った日系二世アメリカ人です。最近京都に留学し、近いうちにまた戻りたいと考えています。ケントさんは、日本語から英語への翻訳の仕事に就くことを目指していますが、日本語で短編小説を書くことにも興味を持っています。
