  Anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066 which led to the unlaw
 ful forced removal of thousands of Americans of Japanese ancestry and the 
 unconstitutional mass incarceration of 120\,000 individuals in domestic co
 ncentration camps.\n\nThe 2012 Day of Remembrance program will explore the
  theme\, &ldquo\;70 Years After E.O. 9066: Defending Our Civil Liberties&r
 dquo\;\, with a commemorative ceremony\, keynote speaker Robin Toma of the
  Los Angeles County Human Relations commission and a stage performance pie
 ce featuring voices from the Nikkei and Muslim American communities.\n\n<e
 m>Presented in collaboration with Nikkei for Civil Rights &amp\; Redress (
 NCRR)\, the Pacific Southwest District of the Japanese American Citizens L
 eague (PSW-JACL)\, and the Manzanar Committee.</em>\n
