The Gardena Valley JCI Japanese Language School, located at 1964 W. 162^nd Street in Gardena, will be conducting a Pre-registration and Orientation Day, on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:15 am.

The purpose of this day is to allow Parents and their families the opportunity to ask questions regarding enrollment and to pre-register for the upcoming year. The classes are conducted on Saturdays, geared for children ages 5 to 17. Adult classes are also available. During the school year, students also have the opportunity to experience various Japanese cultural activities, such as New Year's Celebration, Mochitsuki (traditional rice cake pounding), Undokai (sports day and picnic event), Girl's and Boy's Days, and demonstrations of various Japanese cultural arts. The 2013-2014 School Year will begin on Saturday, September 7, 2013.
