Come meet the award-winning author and illustrator, Allen Say, as he makes his first-ever appearance at the JASC to introduce his latest work, Kamishibai Man, which contrasts traditional and modern-day Japan through the device of an old-time storyteller's narrative.

Allen Say is the author and illustrator of many highly acclaimed children's books including Grandfather's Journey (winner of the 1994 Caldecott Medal), Tree of Cranes, Tea with Milk, The Sign Painter, and Home of the Brave.

Copies of Kamishibai Man will be available for purchase at the event, along with several of Mr. Say's other titles.
