 to the A-bombs in Japan while in school there\, and hundreds of them settl
 ed in Southern California later.  This event is a good opportunity to lear
 n more about their history.</em>\n\n* Informative poster exhibit on the de
 velopment and the use of the atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.\n\n* 
 Accompanying speaking events by a Hiroshima survivor and a historian from 
 Cornell University.\n\n"Engaging Hiroshima and Nagasaki Today" at the Univ
 ersity of Redlands is a three-week event\, from March 10 to 28.  It offers
  an informational exhibition organized by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Mus
 eum that focus on the effects of the only atomic bombings ever conducted i
 n history and provide an opportunity to think about the ramifications for 
 us today.  The University of Redlands will be the only location in Souther
 n California to display a full-scale exhibition of images from the Hiroshi
 ma museum which is holding the exhibition in 101 sites in the U.S. until t
 his fall.  The posters are exhibited in the Armacost Library\, Appleton Ha
 ll\, Irvine Commons\, Hall of Letters\, and Larsen Hall through March 28.\
 n\nA Hiroshima bombing survivor\, Kohji Hosokawa will speak on <strong>Mon
 day\, March 17</strong> at 7 p.m. in the Casa Loma Room.  The Chair of Hir
 oshima Peace Culture Foundation\, Steven Leeper will introduce him.\n\nOn 
 <strong>Wednesday\, March 26</strong> at 7 p.m. in the Casa Loma Room\, Pr
 ofessor Mark Selden\, research associate in the East Asia Program at Corne
 ll University\, will deliver the talk: "The Atomic Bomb: Hiroshima\, Nagas
