also applies to potential spouses

These career criteria are also applied towards potential mates...particularly in the practicality of the ratings. I remember my mom once told me she would like for my sister and I to marry a mechanic and a carpenter. Unfortunately for her, neither of us married someone in either of those professions. =)

my Thanksgiving meal...

Thanksgiving dinner is my single most favorite meal of the year...my plate consists of equal portions of turkey (dark meat!), mashed potatoes, stuffing, and rice all absolutely drenched in turkey gravy.

Yummmm......I can't wait 'til Thursday. =)

I think the best I ever did was to get 3 sides matched, but I could never get it all finished...although if it meant that I would win the lottery, I might have tried harder! =)

I remember watching those shows. How many were there anyway? In Japan, their TV series last for a specific number of episodes, with a defined story line and ending. I vaguely remember there being sequels to this show. Something like Shadow Warriors 2, 3, etc. Anyway, they were very dramatic, had great fight scenes, and heroic characters...and best of all - subtitled! =)

Hi Neal, I'm catching up on your comic strip. Several made me smile; others grimace, but this one was LOL funny.

memory problems

I seem to have similar problems remembering things. My short-term memory tends to be pretty sad, and I don't know that my long-term memory is that much better. Although, my memory lapses also seems to be selective...I just wish that I had some choice in what gets selected. I am particularlybad with dates, names, places,...basic details. I'm much better with concepts and stories.

kakuro

I've tried all of those, but the one I can do best is the sudoku. I like karaoke, but I think I enjoy singing more than others enjoy my singing. =)

Actually, lately I've been addicted to kakuro puzzles. They're number puzzles like sudoku, but require math (simple addition) in order to determine what numbers to put in.

I've never actually seen "Breakfast at Tiffany's". I keep hearing it's such a wonderful movie, but I keep remembering a clip that I've seen with Mickey Rooney from it and it keeps me from seeing it.
