Hi

I am a Tokyo born Japanese(sorry for my EngRish) and really interested in Japanese American history/culture.

Do you know any Kibei Nisei(nikkei people who was sent to Japan when they are young for schooling and come back after) that I can talk story with?

If possible, I'd like to preserve their precious stories in Japanese language because translations from English can never be the same as original Japanese story.
(vise-versa)

If you know anyone, please LMk. I'll preserve your family stories in Japanese.

Thanks
T.S

Currently, the Discover Nikkei web site has one Kibei Interview, Roy H. Matsumoto, interviewed by Densho, one of the Discover Nikkei affiliates. His interview is in English, but you could find some interests. His entire interview is available in Densho's web site with free subscription. You may check it out.
