Hi! I'm typing this from Denver, CO where I'm at for the Japanese American National Museum's conference. I've been here since Monday. When we arrived, there were very few Japanese faces to be seen around the hotel where the conference is being held from July 3-6. It's been exciting to slowly start to see more and more familiar faces each day. It's going to be so great once we get started tomorrow. I've already met some really nice folks from the Denver Nikkei community.
if you're I'm the Denver area and not already registered, you can still register onsite. Discover Nikkei will have a booth at the Community Marketplace and we'll have 2 workshops - one is Thursday from 3-5pm, the second is on Sunday from 10-12pm. Hope to see you there!
My family and I had a great time and wonderful experience at the conference. Thanks to all who supported the conference and to those who travelled to the conference.
