I am working on a Weather Channel documentary on the weather present for the dropping of the Nagasaki bomb.
Throughout history, the weather has been a determining factor in many of the events that have shaped today’s world and weather meant the difference between life and death for the residents of Kokura and Nagasaki.
When Weather Changed History is an innovative Weather Channel series, spotlighting the weather that has quite literally changed our world. Stories are told with an eye toward the unexpected by highlighting the ways in which the almighty power of nature has steered the march of history.
