Kristi Yamaguchi tosses the first pitch at Dodger Stadium, along with some insight on her ‘Dancing’
This week is the finale for Dancing with the Stars. Kristi Yamaguchi is one of the last 3 dancers competing to win. Tonight they dance their final dances and tomorrow the winners will be revealed. I'll be rooting for Kristi. The judges scoring has been very close, so popular votes are critical. There's a nice article about Kristi in The Rafu Shimpo. She recently tossed out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium, so the Rafu talked to her and her husband, professional hockey player Brett Hedican about being on Dancing on the Stars and the intensified celebrity status she's received as a result of being on the show. Belle of the Ball ![]() Just came across this nice article about Kristi winning, so thought I'd share: There Can Be Only One |

Kristi Yamaguchi took home the shiny trophy last night on Dancing with the Stars. Congratulations to her on doing a fantastic job! There are many people who have been saying that she shouldn't have been on the show because she had an unfair advantage as a figure skater, but there are a lot of other figure skaters that I'm sure would not have done as well. I believe that she worked incredibly hard and is just very disciplined and focused to get as good as got.
