During this educational event, the Portland JACL honors those who were forced to give up their civil liberties due to Executive Order 9066. The event also sheds light on the state of our civil liberties today.

Presenters:

* Alton Chung, professional storyteller, performs stories of heroism in the Nikkei community.
* Elden Rosethal, civil rights attorney, who gained national acclaim in the recent Brandon Mayfield case, speaks on civil rights challenges we face today in America.
