San Francisco premiere of "A ZEN LIFE - D.T. Suzuki"
"A ZEN LIFE - D.T. Suzuki" Just a short note to let you know there will be screenings at San Francisco's Roxie Theater of a feature documentary about D.T. (Daisetz) Suzuki. This is the first time it is being shown in the Bay Area. We would be most grateful if you would help spread the word. Friday Mar. 30 - 7:00 PM, 9:00 PM The Roxie New College Film Center "A ZEN LIFE - D.T. Suzuki" is a 77-minute documentary about Daisetz Suzuki (1870-1966), credited with "introducing Zen to the West." Includes interviews of many people who knew him, respected in their own right, including poet Gary Snyder, Zen master Robert Aitken, religious scholar Huston Smith, cinema critic Donald Richie, with rare recordings of D.T.
